Nadejiah Town joined me on the podcast to discuss purposeful pivoting and we discussed what lead to her quitting her job in higher education that came with free housing to pursue her passion.
Nadejiah worked in the same industry as I do and we were able to discuss some of the same struggles and mindset blocks that we have seen or experienced. We also discussed what it's like to be black in higher education.
I asked her how she got herself ready to leave and focus solely on her business and she laid out how she got to that place including how Impact Weekend in February 2020 by Maya Elious was a major pivot point in her journey. I also attended Impact Weekend in June 2019.
