Life with a Chronic Illness
Usually when people see my oxygen, they have a host of questions. A lot of times the questions are inappropriate but I'm used to it at this point.
Most people don't understand what it's like to live with a chronic illness yet alone with a physical indicator. I get a "pass" sometimes because it's "obvious" I'm ill but even without the oxygen, I'm the same sick but LOOK "normal"
Therefore, when you have restrictions that people don't understand but you look and go through your day normally, you get a lot of questions or honestly, doubt!
So, when I first got sick, I came across and analogy that really helped me understand and cope with what would be going on with me and how I could explain these new changes to people. I talk about this in an IGTV video.
